View: PLCs – Gateways

Function: The view shows the Edge Gateways with their descriptions which are available in the network. They can also be modified here.

Call: CODESYS Automation Server → PLCs

Opens the Gateway Configuration dialog

The dialog displays the thumbprint of the private key that has been generated in the local Certificate Store on the computer for the root certificate of the PLC.

Opens a dialog for editing the name and description of the Edge Gateway

Opens the <gateway> Permissions dialog to grant permissions to access the gateway

Opens the Delete Gateway dialog prompt for deleting the Edge Gateway

When the gateway on the Automation Server is deleted, the configuration of the Edge Gateway remains, which can be viewed in CODESYS in the Connect or Reconfigure Edge Gateways view. There you can click the Disconnect Edge button to delete the configured Edge Gateway in the Connect or Reconfigure Edge Gateways view. (The Connect or Reconfigure Edge Gateways view opens when you click Automation Server → Connect Edge Gateway.)
